AS A JUNIOR IN 2011: As the men's top runner, scored in all six events he raced in and was the Tritons' highest finisher in five of them ... Led men to a first-place team finish in the UC San Diego Opener (22:01.3, 4th) ... Placed second overall in Triton Classic Invitational (32:49.6) ... Finished first among UCSD runners in both CCAA Championships (26:32.9) and NCAA West Regional Championships (32:37), placing 13th and 37th overall, respectively ... Voted Racer of the Year by team after conclusion of season.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010: Continued to build on his strong rookie campaign by scoring in six of UCSD's eight events on the season ... Took second place in the Tritons' season opener with a time of 22:24.1 ... Was the Tritons' second-highest finisher at both the Roy Griak Invitational and the UCSD Triton Classic with respective times of 26:48.2 and 33:27.8 ... Rounded out the Tritons' top five at the CCAA Championships in Whittier, finishing 26th overall at 25:58.4 ... Placed 48th at the NCAA West Regional Championships with a time of 33:53.8 in Bellingham, Wash. ... Was named the team's Most Improved runner at season's end.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009: Had a brilliant first season with the Tritons, running in five events on the year ... Was a scorer in his first three events ... Finished fifth overall and fourth among UCSD competitors in his first collegiate race, clocking in at 23:05.6 ... Was the Tritons' third finisher and placed 36th overall with a time of 27:32.85 at the Southern Indiana Pre-National Invite ... Time of 35:13.9 at the NCAA West Regional was good enough for 87th place ... Was honored with the team's Rising Star award.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of nearby Torrey Pines High School, where he was a two-time All-League selection on the cross country team ...
