Competed in three meets for UC San Diego … Concluded season with a 31st-place finish at the 20th Annual Triton Invitational, where he recorded a time of 27:23.7 … Kicked off season with a strong sixth-place showing at the UCSD Opener, scoring in the No. 5 position with a time of 22:19.6 … Finished 51st overall with a time of 26:51.5 at the adidas/UC Irvine Invitational.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011
Ran for UCSD in the first two meets of 2011 season ... Earned a 14th-place finish overall in UCSD Opener (22:38.9) ... Turned in a good performance for the Tritons in the Asics/UCI Invitational, placing 48th overall with a finishing time of 26:32.4.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2010 graduate of Westview High School in San Diego, where he was a standout on both the cross country and track and field teams ... Was a two-time All-Valley League First Team performer in cross country ... Earned a spot on the All-CIF squad as a junior ... Was named the team MVP as a senior ... Also named the Male Track Athlete of the Year in his final season at WHS... Led the Wolverines to the state championships as a junior and senior ... Holds the school record in the 800 at 1:58.1 ...
