AS A JUNIOR IN 2010: Ran in six events during the season, scoring on three occasions... Clocked in at 28:25.0 for fourth place in the open run at the SDSU Aztec Invitational... Finished in sixth place at the Bronco Preview Meet with a time of 26:10.1 on the Whittier course… Took 29th overall at the CCAA Championships with a time of 26:14.5 at the same site two weeks later... Was one of the Tritons' top five finishers at the NCAA West Regional Championships, finishing 53rd overall with 34:04.6.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009: Appeared in five events on the season, scoring on four occasions... Finished third overall in UCSD’s opener, clocking in at 22:56.7… Was the Tritons’ third-highest finisher at the NCAA West Regional, recording a time of 33:52.5, good enough for 52nd place… Finished 34th at the CCAA Championships with a time of 27:13.9.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008: Made three appearances for the Tritons as a rookie… Finished 37th overall in the season opener with Point Loma and USD, crossing the line with a time of 25:28.9… Took 45th place at the CCAA Championships in San Bernardino after finishing at 28:32.5.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara, Calif., where he was a four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track and field… helped his squad qualify for CIF as a senior… SMHS was named the top academic track team in the state… holds the school three mile record with a time of 15:20… also has a personal best of 4:22 in the one mile and 1:59 in the 800.
