Corrie Falcon begins her fourth year as an assistant coach with the UC San Diego swimming program in 2010-2011. She assists in all aspects of the program including student-athlete development, recruiting and camps. Falcon is a 2002 graduate of the University of Southern California where she was a four-year scholarship swimmer and All-American.

Falcon has been instrumental in the development of Alex Henley, a UCSD junior who captured national titles in the 400 IM and 200 fly at the 2010 NCAA Division II National Championships held in Canton, Ohio. Henley also finished second in the 200 backstroke and the 200 IM and recorded a total of three school records during that week.

The 2009-10 school year featured plenty of impressive performances from the UCSD squad. Henley and Daniel Perdew were crowned as NCAA champions, with the men's squad finishing seventh overall for the third-straight year and the women taking third for the seventh time in eight years. UCSD sent a total of 28 student-athletes, 14 men and 14 women, to the D-II championships.

Falcon earned several honors as a collegiate and amateur swimmer. A National team member from 1997-2001, Falcon earned a bronze at the '99 World University Games, was a two-time Olympic Trials multi-finalist, and a US National Champion in the 400 IM. At her alma mater, USC, she was a 2 year team captain, and earned a Division I NCAA second place finish in the 400 IM.

Falcon's experience includes a two-year stint as an assistant at USC for head U.S. Olympic coach Mark Schubert in 2001-03. Falcon's experience extends internationally where she coached age groups teams in Australia and England. Falcon is a former head coach at San Diego Mesa Community College.

Falcon enjoys surfing, open water swimming and yoga. She resides in San Diego with her husband, Ian.
