Kristin Jones is in her eighth year as an assistant coach in 2012 for the program she spent four years playing for. She was promoted to the top assistant coach prior to the start of the 2006 campaign. Jones assists with all aspects of the program including scheduling, recruiting, budgets, camps and travel.

A two-time All-American at UCSD, Jones accumulated 81 points in her four-year career between 2000 and 2003. As a senior she was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Year after posting 10 goals and 12 assists and leading the Tritons to their fourth-straight CCAA Championships and their third appearance at the NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Final Four.

Jones also assists UCSD women’s soccer head coach Brian McManus with the organization of the La Jolla Nomads Soccer Club. In her sixth season with the Nomads, Jones was promoted to Assistant Director of the Girls Program in 2008.

A 2004 graduate from UCSD, Jones earned her degree in Human Development.
