Participated at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Track & Field Championships in both the men's 110-meter hurdles and 400 hurdles for UC San Diego ... Placed ninth overall in the 400 hurdles after finishing fourth in his heat with a time of 57.14 seconds ... Ran to a time of 15.68 in the prelims of the 110 hurdles to place fifth in his heat and 10th overall ... Reached a personal best of 15.51 in the 110 hurdles at the Point Loma Collegiate Open, where he came in fourth place ... Earned a personal-best time of 56.44 in the 400 hurdles at the highly-competitive Cal/Nevada Collegiate Championships, placing sixth in his heat while finishing 21st overall.

Competed in both the 110 hurdles and 400 hurdles during the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, posting times of 16.28 in the shorter event and 57.91 in the longer event ... Earned a fourth-place finish in the 110 hurdles at 15.69 and placed eighth in the 400 hurdles with a time of 58.23 at the Mangrum Invitational ... Recorded top-10 finishes in both events during the Point Loma Collegiate Championships.

Majoring in human biology at Roosevelt College ... Winning the honor of Track Athlete of the Meet at the 2009 Coastal Conference Track Meet is his most memorable track & field moment ... Favorite UCSD moment was his first meet competing at the CCAA Championships ... Favorite athlete is former UCSD teammate Christine Merrill ... Roots for the San Diego Chargers ... "Dumb and Dumber" is his favorite movie ... Listens to The Black Keys ... Played the French horn in middle school ... Enjoys going to the beach as well as playing sports and video games ...
