Began season with an 11th-place finish at 16th Annual BladeRunner Tournament at RIMAC (10/29-10/30) ... Won the gold medal at the UC Irvine-hosted Collegiate Open as part of podium sweep in men's sabre (11/6) ... Went 15-1 at Mega Duals, hosted by UC Santa Barbara (11/19) ... Contributed a 10-8 record during NCAA West Invitational, hosted by Air Force (1/7-1/8) ... Finished a respectable 31st place out of 114 competitors in junior men's sabre and defeated the top-ranked fencer at the North American Cup in Portland, Ore. (1/13-1/16) ... Won six of nine matches in his pool at the IFCSC Individual Championships en route to a fifth-place finish overall in men's sabre (2/11-2/12) ... Part of first-place men's sabre team at IFCSC Final Duals (2/26) ... Placed eighth overall at the NCAA West Regionals (3/10-3/11).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010-11
At the Collegiate Open, took first place in men's sabre (10/24) ... Lost only one bout during UC Irvine Duals, in which men's team accumulated a 52-2 record (11/7) ... Placed third in UCSD's podium sweep of men's sabre, earning a 30-6 record (2/26).

A 2010 graduate of San Mateo High School in San Mateo ... Recorded statistical bests of 55.4 and 42.7 seconds in the 400m and 300 hurdles, respectively, as part of the track and field team ...
