AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011-12
Finished 14th of 43 at 16th Annual BladeRunner Tournament in senior men's epee, winning first four of six matches in his pool and advanced as far as the Table of 16 in Direct Elimination Round (10/29-10/30) ... Earned second place at the Collegiate Open after winning three of four matches in his pool and defeating three straight UCLA opponents to reach the Gold Medal Bout (11/6) ... Helped carry men's team to a fourth-place finish at the NCAA West Invitational (1/7-1/8) ... Went an undefeated 5-0 at the UC San Diego Duals against Arizona State and UC Irvine (2/26) ... Tied for third overall at IFCSC Individual Championships (2/11-2/12) ... Member of UCSD men's epee team, which placed second at UC Irvine Final Duals (2/26) ... Placed eighth overall to end season at NCAA West Regionals (3/10-3/11).
