Made 11 appearances, with six starts ... Earned lone win in a starting role in season debut vs. No. 20 Colorado Mesa (2/3), tossing 5.0 innings with two runs allowed on six singles and one walk while striking out a pair as UCSD took the rubber game ... Went a season-long 5.1 frames in a start in the doubleheader opener vs. Cal State Dominguez Hills (2/23) ... Had at least two strikeouts in nine of 11 outings, with a season-high four over 5.0 innings in a start at Cal State L.A. (3/15) ... Did not allow a home run over his 28.1 innings.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012
Drew 10 starts among 18 appearances in his first season of college baseball ... Held opponents to a team-best .208 batting average ... Earned first start in the second game of a doubleheader at Cal State East Bay (3/2), going 5.1 innings ... Longest outing was his last of the year, as he went 6.0 frames to open the NCAA West Regional vs. Dixie State (5/17), striking out seven ...
