Missed first 22 games due to injury and made season debut as the starting designated hitter in first game of doubleheader at Cal State Dominguez Hills (3/13), going 1-for-2 with a sacrifice bunt, sacrifice fly, run scored, two RBI and a stolen base in 14-4 win ... Made first mound appearance at No. 27 Chico State (3/26), tossing a clean fifth inning in the doubleheader nightcap with three flyouts around a one-out single ... Threw two more shutout frames vs. Stanislaus State (4/3), cancelling out a leadoff infield single in the seventh with a strikeout and two groundouts to leave the runner stranded at third, before a perfect eighth on a called third strike and two flyouts ... Will seek hardship waiver to gain fifth year of eligibility.

(3/16) to earn the win in his first collegiate pitching start, tossing the first five frames (3 H, 1 BB, 4 SO) Walked four times and scored three runs, both season highs, in a 10-2 victory in the first game of that doubleheader vs. CSULA ... Ultimately won each of his first five pitching starts, opening with a shutout streak of 16.2 innings ... Picked up three saves in February.
Played for the Santa Barbara Foresters' storied summer program in 2014, ascending to the role of primary closer while helping them to a California Collegiate League (CCL) regular-season title, as well as a fifth National Baseball Congress (NBC) World Series championship at the 80th installment in Wichita, Kan. ... At the NBC World Series following a bus trip of more than 26 hours from California, closed out three of the Foresters' five victories at the event (5-1) with two saves and a win (4.2 IP, 4 H, IBB, 4 SO) ... Entered semifinal vs. NJCAA National Team (8/8) with the bases loaded and one away, and proceeded to get a swinging strikeout and handled the game-ending putout on a grounder to first to preserve a 6-1 triumph ... In the final the next night against the defending champion Seattle Studs, tossed 3.0 scoreless frames (2 H, IBB, 2 SO) and earned the decision as Santa Barbara (41-11-1) overcame a pair of one-run deficits to win 3-2 in 12 innings ... For the summer, went 2-0 with a team-best five saves and 1.35 ERA over 14 outings (20.0 IP, 17 H, 5 BB, 31 SO) ... Also had 24 plate appearances ... Returned to the closer role for the Foresters for the 2015 summer, as the team completed the regular season at 35-7, once again the best record in the CCL, and marking the fewest losses by a Santa Barbara club heading to the NBC World Series ... Foresters went 2-2 in Wichita and were eliminated in Super Six round ... Completed summer without allowing a single run in 13 relief appearances and 12.2 innings (3 SV, 3 H, 7 BB, 16 SO, .075 OBA) ...
