AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Won his first eight decisions and finished the year with an 8-1 mark and two saves... had a 3.51 ERA for the season... earned second-team All-CCAA honors... also named to the ABCA/Rawlings All West Region Team... held opponents to a .248 batting average and struck out 57 batters.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007: Recorded five wins in his first year with the Tritons... recorded at least seven strikeouts in three starts... earned a CCAA victory over Cal State Stanislaus, pitching seven innings and allowing just one run and strikeing out seven... pitched six shutout innings against Regis, striking out a career-high eight batters.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Soquel HS where he earned the teams' Most Inspirational and Cy Young honors... team earned a spot in the CCS DII Semifinal game... statistical bests included a sub 2.00 ERA and a .350 batting average.

PERSONAL: Born November 8, 1987... parents are Mike St. John and Barbara Alston... father played baseball professionally for the Dodgers' and Cardinals' organizations... a Communications major in Roosevelt College... hobbies include surfing, aviation and music.
