AS A JUNIOR IN 2009: Appeared in 96 games with 366 kills, 119 digs and 64 blocks... had 20 matches with at least 10 kills... set a career-high with 33 kills in a four set win over Hawaii on March 13... finished the year with four consecutive matches with at least 20 kills... recorded 20 kills at UCLA on .552 hitting in January.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Fritsch finished second on the team with 367 kills and ranks 14th on the career kills list at UCSD... recorded at least 10 kills in 24 matches... notched a career-best 25 kills at Hawaii on January 25... also recorded 21 kills twice against Pacific... recorded a double-double with 17 kills and 10 digs against Long Beach State.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007: Notched 3.00 kills per game with 1.05 digs per game and 0.58 blocks per game... recorded at least 20 kills on two occassions, including 21 kills against Lewis on March 7... notched a double-double with 16 kills and 13 digs against Stanford.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Los Gatos HS where he led the volleyball team with aces, kills and blocks... also played on the basketball team where he led the team in blocked shots, steals and rebounds.

PERSONAL: Born October 28, 1988... parents are Frank and Eileen Fritsch... parents are graduates of Cornell University... father was a member of the football team while mother was on the crew team... has an older sibling named Virginia... hobbies include biking... an Electrical Engineering major in Sixth College.
