Women's Volleyball Signs a Pair of Prep Standouts

LA JOLLA, Calif. - UC San Diego head women's volleyball coach Ricci Luyties has announced the signing of two student-athletes that will join the Triton family in the Fall of 2011. An outside hitter and a setter, both will be incoming freshmen.

UCSD posted a strong 2010 season, Luyties' first at the helm of the program. The Tritons finished 19-9 overall and advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA West Regional. It was UC San Diego's fifth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.
