Competed for UC San Diego in the men's 5000-meter run at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Track & Field Championships ... Was UCSD's highest finisher in the 5,000 at the CCAA Championships, taking 10th place overall with a finishing time of 15 minutes, 39.60 seconds ... Ran personal-best 14:54.36 to finish 11th overall in the 5,000 at the Occidental Distance Carnival ... Placed as high as fourth in the 5,000 at the 26th Annual Pomona-Pitzer Invitational (15:00.09) and earned a sixth-place showing at the Cal-Nevada Championships (15:05.00) ... Won the 1,500 at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge with a personal-record time of 4:00.83 and placed ninth overall at the UCSD Triton Invitational (4:01.12) ... Finished in first place in the 3,000 at the meet against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Cal Poly Pomona (8:40.59) ... Claimed second place in the 3,000 at the All-Cal Challenge after running a career-best time of 8:31.00.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011
In his 5,000 debut for the Tritons, took 17th place at the All-Cal Challenge with a time of 15:08.64 ... Took 13th place at the Rossi Relays with a time of 9:09.10 in the 3,000 ... Completed the 3,000 in 8:59.90 at the Mangrum Invitational ... Finished within the top-10 spots at the Soka Peace Invitational with a time of 4:12.18 in the 1,500 event ... Awarded the fourth-place spot in the 5,000 (15:10.78) during the Triton Invitational ... At the CCAA Championships, came in 16th place in the 5,000 event and seventh in the 3,000 steeplechase with a final time of 10:16.53.

A 2010 graduate of Clovis West High School in Fresno ... Finished 16th overall during his personal-best performance in the 3,200 at the California CIF Track and Field State Meet with a time of 9:16.58 as a senior (2010) ... Had a career-best time of 4:17.13 in the 1,600 at the California CIF-CS North Area Championships, where he placed third overall during his senior year with the Golden Eagles (2010) ...
