Third on the team with 49 steals… Tied with teammate Julia Kirkland for the second most number of field blocks at 11… Finished the season with 146 quarters of earned playing time… Scored one goal with two assists and two ejections drawn in the season opener with Santa Clara (1/26)… Came away with two goals, two assists and two steals against Claremont Mudd-Scripps (1/27) and Sonoma State (4/6)… Posted a single-game high three goals against cal State San Bernardino (4/19) and again at the NCAA Championship Tournament against Pomona-Pitzer (5/11).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012
Named to the All-Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) Freshman Team ... Brooks scored 10 goals and dished out 10 assists in her rookie season for UC San Diego ... Added 27 steals and 17 ejections drawn to boast the strongest stat line of her class ... Had a breakout performance for the Tritons against Cal State Bakersfield in the conference tournament, posting two goals, one assist and two steals in the 12-7 victory.
A 2011 graduate of Davis Senior High School in Davis ... Led the Blue Devils to CIF Sac-Joaquin Section (SJS) championships in 2007 and 2010 as well as a Northern California championship in 2010 ... Team finished second place in the SJS championships for both 2008 and 2009 ... DSHS went 30-1 during her senior year (2010) ... Named to All-Delta Valley Conference First Team all four years (2007-10) ... Selected to CIF SJS All-Section First Team throughout high school (2007-10) ... Earned All-American status as a junior and senior (2009-10) ... Played for the third-place USA National Zone Championships Cadet Team in 2007 ...
