At University of Southern California: Friedrich scored one goal as a redshirt freshman, tallying his first career goal vs. Whittier on Nov. 6. 2009: Friedrich redshirted his first year at USC.

High School: Friedrich helped his Carlsbad High team win its sixth straight CIF title as a senior... Named 2008 CIF San Diego Section Player of the Year and league, county and Union Tribune Player of the Year as a senior... A two-time All-CIF First Team pick...
