VISTA, Calif. - The UC San Diego men's golf team opened its season Monday and sits in a tie for third place after two rounds of the Cal State San Marcos Cougar Invitational at Shadowridge Country Club.

Oklahoma City sits atop the leaderboard with a 14-over 590 (298-292). Host CSU San Marcos, which led after round one, is a close second at 592 (294-298). The Tritons are tied for third with The Master's College, which shot 302-303--605 on the par-72 layout.

Individually, the Tritons were led by a pair of players tied for 14th overall.
