Savannah Erskine joined the UCSD women's basketball staff as a volunteer assistant coach during the summer of 2014.

In Erskine's first season as an assistant, in 2014-15, UCSD posted an 18-10 record overall and 16-6 in the conference, finishing fourth in the CCAA. Farrah Shokoor earned All-CCAA First Team honors while Miranda Seto and McKennan Bertsch were named honorable mentions. In addition, Shokoor was honored with a spot on the Daktronics All-West Region Second Team.

A 2014 graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, Erskine was a two-year starter and captain for the Sea Lions. As a senior, she was named second team NCCAA All-West Region, second team All-Pacific West Conference and the team's MVP. The guard averaged 11 points while leading the league in assists (6.3/game) and steals (3.8/game).

As a junior, Erskine earned NCCAA All-West Region honorable mention accolades. She averaged 9.6 points/game and led the team with 4.4 assists/game and 2.7 steals/game. Her .932 free throw percentage was the best in the Pac West.

Erskine played two seasons at the University of San Francisco before transferring to PLNU.

She earned four varsity letters at Culver City High in Los Angeles County and was tabbed the Centaurs' MVP as a freshman, junior and senior. Erskine was named second team All-CIF as a senior and junior and also picked up first team all-league honors following her junior campaign.

Born in Santa Monica, Erskine received a bachelor's degree in societal communication from PLNU.
