AS A FRESHMAN IN 2014
Twice earned Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. National Freshman of the Week honorable mention (3/3 and 3/31) ... Team's Rookie of the Year ... Appeared in each of final 12 matches of season and 42 sets in all at libero ... Second on team in digs (86) and third in assists (19) despite missing first 15 matches ... Led UCSD with .959 reception percentage (8-194) ... After serving as team manager for his first year and a half on campus, added to active playing roster on Feb. 27 and made collegiate debut as starting libero the next night vs. Grand Canyon (2/28) ... Against GCU, finished with a match-high 16 digs, three assists and zero reception errors on 27 chances in helping UCSD to first win of season in five sets ... Added a team-high six digs vs. No. 6 UC Santa Barbara one night later (3/1) ... Produced two more double-figure efforts in digs with 10 in another five-set home triumph vs. California Baptist (3/13) and a season-high 19 to lead all players vs. CSUN (3/29) ...
