ABOUT CAL STATE LA: The Golden Eagles enter the week with a 2-1-1 overall record after splitting the opening weekend of CCAA play. A 4-1 victory over Chico State was short lived as CSULA traveled to Turlock and dropped a 4-1 decision to Cal State Stanislaus on Sunday afternoon. Cal State LA is coming off a 13-4-4 record in 2011.

SERIES HISTORY: All but two games in the past four years have been decided by a single goal between the programs. The Golden Eagles and Tritons split in 2011, but UCSD holds a winning record of 11-9-2 as Division II institutions.

ABOUT CAL STATE SAN BERNARDINO: CSUSB swept its opening weekend in conference play. The Coyotes saw the same pair of teams as the Tritons, defeating both Cal Poly Pomona and San Francisco State. San Bernardino holds a 3-0-1 record on the year, placing just below the Tritons in the South division standings. The Coyotes finished up the 2011 season with a 9-6-3 record.

SERIES HISTORY: The two teams have a history of going into overtime against each other, double overtime that is. Half of their meetings in the past four years have ended in double overtime, with the Tritons taking the majority (5-1-2). UC San Diego has a 29-4-5 record when playing the Coyotes in Division II competition.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: UCSD swept its opening weekend of CCAA play at Triton Soccer Field. The team improved to 3-0 overall and jumped to No. 15 in the NSCAA poll. Senior Hayley Johnsons' two assists in the San Francisco State game placed her on top of the CCAA statistics leader board, with three total.
