AS A SENIOR IN 2011: Appeared in 54 games in 2011, starting in 43 contests overall, 39 in right field... Posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage during her senior campaign... Hit .253 (25-for-99) with 11 RBI and 22 runs scored... Finished her career with 48 steals, tying her for the third-most career steals for any player in program history... Notched a leadoff pinch-hit single and then scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning on a squeeze play in a 2-1 win over Chico State on May 16 to hand UCSD its first West Region title... Two hits, two RBI in national championship game against No. 1 Alabama-Huntsville on May 30.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2010: Appeared in 49 games in 2010, starting 40 contests... Led the team with 16 stolen bases on 19 attempts, fourth-most in the CCAA... Ranks 10th all-time in UCSD annals with 34 stolen bases... Appeared in six games as a designated player and five times as a pinch runner... Hit .222 with 17 hits and 26 runs... Recorded a hit and scored a run in three out of four games in a series at Humboldt State Apr. 9-10... Scored three runs and stole two bases in a 3-for-4 day in the second leg of a double header on Feb. 17 against Cal State San Bernardino.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009: Earned the starting nod in 31 games as a sophomore while appearing in 44 contests... Finished third on the team in hitting with a .305 average, collecting 25 hits in 82 at bats... Stole eight bases in 10 attempts as a threat on the basepaths... Entered 10 games as a pinch runner... Starred in the final series of the regular season on the road against Cal State Monterey Bay, collecting five hits in 10 at bats across the four games... Ended the season as the only non-pitcher to tally a fielding percentage of 1.000, recording 20 putouts and two assists without committing an error... Batted .333 in two-out situations.

Made 49 starts in her first year as a Triton... Hit .257 on the year with 20 runs scored and seven RBI... Went 4-for-4 with two runs and two stolen bases against the University of San Diego on Feb. 20... Stole 10 bases in 12 attempts... Had a .935 fielding percentage, making only two errors with 29 putouts.  

HIGH SCHOOL:  A 2007 graduate of Oak Grove High School in San Jose, Calif... Helped varsity softball team to the Blossom Valley Athletic League Championship in 2005 and again in 2007... Was a two-time participant in the Central Coast Section playoffs... Named the BVAL Senior Athlete of the Year in 2007 and earned all-league honors as a sophomore and as a junior... Played club softball for the Sorcerers from 2005-07... Also lettered in soccer while at OGHS.

PERSONAL:  Born Aug. 10, 1989... Parents are Edgar and Lynn Gabriel... Has three younger brothers named Kristopher, Anthony and EJ... Is a Human Development major and Education Studies minor in Thurgood Marshall College... Aspires to be an elementary school teacher and deaf interpreter upon graduation... Enjoys all snowboarding, going to the beach and hanging out with friends in her spare time.
