AS A JUNIOR IN 2012
Represented UC San Diego in three events at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Track & Field Championships, including the men's discus throw, hammer throw and shot put ... Was the runner-up in the discus at the CCAA Championships, throwing a distance of 154'1" ... Turned in finishes of seventh place in the hammer throw (166'6") and 11th place in the shot put (43'7") ... Earned a personal-best mark in the discus (161'8", 25th) and a season-best measure in the shot put (47'4.5", 6th) at the UCSD Triton Invitational ... Reached a personal-record distance of 173'6" in the hammer throw at the All-Cal Challenge, where he finished fifth overall ...
