Showed dramatic improvement from freshman season, ascending so far as to earn just the third Sports Imports/AVCA Men’s Division I-II National Player of the Week (4/3) and third MPSF Molten Player of the Week (4/2) recognition in UCSD program history ... Awards came after back-to-back double-digit kill performances during the Tritons’ five-match win streak, with 12 vs. UCLA (3/30) to go along with nine digs and 13 more vs. UC Santa Barbara (3/31) on a season-best .632 (13-1-19) hitting with six digs and two aces ... Produced at least 12 kills, 13.5 points and six digs in four of the five victories during the streak ... One of two players with 28 starts, appearing in 103 sets ...
