AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011: Appeared in 31 games as a freshman, splitting time between the catcher and designated player postitions... Hit .290 (20-for-69) for the season with two doubles and a homerun... Connected with a two-run single in the top of the sixth inning with the bases loaded to provide the difference in a 2-1 win over Cal State East Bay on April 22, clinching the CCAA regular season title for UCSD... Hit her first career homerun in the ninth inning against Cal State East Bay in game two on April 23... 3-for-7 (.429) with two runs, an RBI and a double at the NCAA Finals, May 26-30... 1-for-3 with a run and an RBI in the national championship game against No. 1 Alabama-Huntsville on May 30.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Great Oak High School... Earned second team All-League honors her senior season... Played travel ball with Velocity in 2009-10... Great Oak softball team registered highest team GPA in Riverside County in 2010.

PERSONAL: Born December 16, 1991... Parents are Roy Swanberg and Sheila Travers... Has three siblings- Alexus, Wesley and Quinn... Hopes to attend dental school upon graduation from UCSD and run her own business... Is a student in Muir College... Enjoys scuba diving and surfing in her spare time... Her favorite athlete is USA Softball star, Charlotte Morgan.
