Softball Series vs. Humboldt State Moved to La Jolla

LA JOLLA, Calif. - Due to forecasted inclement weather in Northern California, this week's UC San Diego softball series against Humboldt State has been moved to Triton Softball Field in La Jolla.
The four game series will be contested as a pair of doubleheaders on Tuesday, Mar. 13 and Wednesday, Mar. 14. Tuesday's opening game is slated for a 2 p.m. first pitch and Wednesday's action gets underway at 1 p.m.
The California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) series was originally scheduled for Mar. 16 and 17 at HSU Softball Field in Arcata. The National Weather Service is calling for rain, heavy at times, for the next week in the area. A possibility for thunderstorms and hail is also being predicted.
UCSD is currently 20-8 overall and fourth in the CCAA with a 14-6 record. HSU is 8-17 on the year and in last place in the league at 2-14.
Admission is free to all regular season home games. All four games in La Jolla this week will be covered by live stats.
