AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2012
Faced competition in two throwing events for UC San Diego at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Track & Field Championships ... Placed fifth overall and fourth in her heat of the women's shot put event, in which she threw to a distance of 40'3.5" and earned four points for the Tritons ... Also turned in a 13th-place showing in the discus throw at the CCAA Championships, contributing a mark of 118' ... Recorded her season-best mark in the shot put upon throwing a length of 41'1" at the UCSD Triton Invitational, where she finished 18th overall in the heavily-competitive field ... Threw the discus to a personal-best mark of 126'4" during the meet against Cal Poly Pomona and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, in which she placed second overall ... At the 16th Annual Rossi Relays, earned a personal-best performance of 124'2" in the hammer throw to place 16th overall ... Finished first, second and third place, respectively, in the shot put (39'3.25"), discus throw (121'8") and hammer throw (122'4") at the Soka Peace Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011
Competed at the UCSD Triton Invitational in the discus, where she finished in 27th place with a final mark of 107'1'' ... Also cracked the top 20 in the shot put at the UCSD Triton Invitational (38'2") ... Contended in the shot put (37'2.5"), discus (119'4") and hammer throw (115'10") at the 15th Annual Rossi Relays, finishing in fourth, sixth and 14th place, respectively ... Placed in the top 10 in the discus (122'7", 6th), the shot put (35'2.5", 7th) and the hammer throw (112'7", 8th) at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge ... At the All-Cal Challenge, placed sixth in the shot put (37'6.75") and eighth in the discus (115'5") ... Posted a final mark of 39'4.5" in the shot put to earn a second-place finish during the Mangrum Invitational ... Additionally, took seventh in the discus (111'9") at the Mangrum Invitational ... Made the top five in the discus during the Soka Peace Invitational with a mark of 118'11" ... Finished the CCAA Championships with a mark of 41'1" in the shot put and 118' in the discus, which earned her respective finishes of sixth and 12th place.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2010 graduate of Campolindo High School in Moraga ... Threw a personal-best mark of 36'6" in the shot put to win the event at the Meet of Champions as a senior (2010) ... Later competed at the California State Meet, where she contended in the discus and earned a personal best of 136'8" to place 11th overall ... Also played basketball for the Cougars, who went undefeated during the 2007-08 season while she was a player during her sophomore year.
