The teams of Sam Ling/Jason Wall and Austin West/Devon Sousa had byes in the opening round. West and Sousa will take on Jiganti and Dell Friday, while Ling and Wall will play against a squad from Grand Canyon.

West, Jiganti, Ling and Andrew Malozsak won their singles matches Thursday, all in straight sets.

The USTA/ITA Regional Championships feature some of the top men's and women's players competing in each of the ITA's regions nationwide. Over 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete at one of the 88 USTA/ITA Regional Championships held across the country.

The winners from each regional site advance to the ITA National Small College Championships, the only championship event for singles and doubles at the NCAA Division II level.
