AS A JUNIOR IN 2010: Made a total of seven appearances on the season, scoring on three occasions… Finished 16th overall in UCSD's season opener with a final time of 17:12.7... Was the Triton's third finisher at the SDSU Aztec Invitational after posting an 11th-place time of 20:36.2… Finished fifth on the team at the UCSD Triton Classic… Clocked in at 24:38.1 and finished 38th overall in that race… Was also a scorer for the Tritons at the NCAA West Regional Championships after clocking in at 25:11.3, which was good enough for 78th place.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009: Appeared in five events on the year… Finished 33rd overall in UCSD’s season opener with a time of 17:47.3… Clocked in at 25:01.2 at the CCAA Championships, claiming 49th place… Posted a 48th place finish at the Triton Classic after crossing the finish line in 24:45.2.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008: Competed in three events during her rookie campaign… Finished 19th overall in the Open run at the SDSU Aztec Invitational, crossing the finish line with a time of 20:37… Claimed 35th place at the CSUSB Coyotes Invite with a time of 25:08.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Harvard Westlake High School in North Hollywood, Calif., where she was a captain on the cross country squad… Named the Team MVP after guiding HWHS to a third place finish in the Mission League as a senior… The team finished in seventh place in 2006… Registered personal best times of 5:41 in the mile, 12:15 in the two mile, 19:28 in the three mile, and 20:10 in the 5k.
PERSONAL: Born July 16, 1989 in Santa Monica, Calif.… Parents are Roderick and Michele Turner… Has a younger sister named Anne, who is a goalkeeper on the USC soccer team… Enjoys reading, drawing, hanging out with friends and traveling in her spare time… Roots for all UCSD teams and the UCLA men's basketball team… Lists legendary coach John Wooden as her greatest influence… Can't live without peanut butter… Is an Urban Studies and Planning major in Roosevelt College… Plans to pursue a career in environmental law after graduatin from UCSD.
