At the UC San Diego Duals, finished with a 5-1 record in men's foil (2/12) ... Only dropped two matches as part of men's foil team which won 51 of 54 bouts at UC Irvine Duals (11/7) ... Earned a 13-7 record at the Northwestern Invitational (2/5-2/6) ... Finished with a bronze medal at the Collegiate Open, going as far as the Final 4 in Direct Elimination after defeating all five of his pool opponents, to begin the season (10/24) ... Went undefeated (12-0) at the UC Irvine Duals while ending season with a 33-3 record in men's foil to place second overall in the weapon (2/26).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009-10
Opened the season with a seventh-place finish in men's foil at the UC Irvine-hosted Collegiate Open, where he won three of four matches in his pool and reached the Final 8 in the Direct Elimination Round (10/18) ... Placed eighth in men's epee at the 14th Annual BladeRunner Tournament and made the Final 8 in the Direct Elimination Round (1/2-1/3) ... Additionally, finished 14th in men's foil at the 14th Annual BladeRunner Tournament, winning half of his six pool matches while advancing in the Direct Elimination Round to the Table of 16 (1/2-1/3).
