WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - UC San Diego had 74 student-athletes named as 2012-13 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Academic, as announced Monday by the conference office.
This marks the eighth straight year in which the Tritons led the 12-member CCAA in honorees for academic excellence. Cal State Monterey Bay had the second-most with 52. All told, 511 student-athletes in the conference earned the distinction, up from 480 in 2011-12.
