RETURN TO THE WIN COLUMN
The Tritons came away with a perfect 4-0 weekend last week at the Claremont Convergence. This marks the first weekend of the season UCSD has come away with a perfect winning record. The Tritons now sit at 10-8 overall as they enter two key weeks against fellow nationally ranked opponents, both at the Aztec Invitational and the Hawaii Spring Break Tournament (Mar. 28-31).

STEADY AS SHE GOES
The most recent CWPA National rankings came out on Wednesday, Mar. 13 and revealed that UCSD remains No. 17 among the nations top Division I programs. This marks the fourth straight week the Tritons have been listed at No. 17, as they started the season sitting at the number 19 spot.

MILLER TIME
Freshman goalie Courtney Miller broke into the 100's at the UC Irvine Invitational on Feb. 23-24, knocking down 39 saves to bring her season total up to 110. Miller added another 20  with games against Loyola Marymount and UC Irvine at home on Mar. 1 and 3 to bring her season total to 130. After four games at the Claremont Convergence, Miller now leads the WWPA with 152 saves. With two-thirds of the season remaining, Miller could possibly break into the programs Single-Season top 10.

ALL AROUND PRESENCE
Jolene Guiliana leads the team in both assists and steals, at 30 and 32 respectively. These marks also rank her in the top three among the leading WWPA performers as she now leads the conference in the assists category.

HIGH FIRING DUO
Both Sarah Lizotte and Alexis Wieseler have shown hot shooting this season as they both sit as leading scorers for the Tritons. The hard work has payed off, as they have each received the UC San Diego Player of the Week award as well as KAP7 WWPA Player of the Week honors. Lizotte earned her second conference honor on Wednesday, Mar. 13 as she was named Co-Player of the Week for her play over the weekend in Claremont. Lizzote previously earned the WWPA weekly award on Jan. 30 after the Tritons went 3-1 at the UC Santa Barbara Winter Invite to open the 2013 campaign. Wieseler received hers on Mar. 7 after leading UCSD with seven goals in the exciting victory over Loyola Marymount.

ROAD WARRIORS
UCSD has played 12 of its 18 games on the road this season, and shown relative success going 8-4 at both away and neutral locations.
