UCSD students and children under seven are admitted free to all regular season home games. Tickets for all games at RIMAC Arena are available at the main entrance on game day. General admission prices are $10 for adults (ages seven and up) and $5 for seniors (ages 65 and up), visiting students and UCSD Alumni Association members. AIR BALL
For the third consecutive season, a majority of UCSD's men's basketball games will be broadcast by ESPN Radio 1700 AM. A total of 17 non-conference and California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) games will be on air, including all home league games and select road conference games. Craig Elsten, in his fifth season as the voice of Triton men's and women's basketball during online broadcasts, serves as the play-by-play announcer. Color commentary will be handled by former Triton players. A full list of games being aired can be found by clicking here.

GOING LIVE
All UCSD home games will feature a free live video stream that will be coupled with the audio from the ESPN Radio 1700 AM broadcast. You can access the video/audio feed by clicking here. In addition, all home games will be covered by live stats, which can be viewed by clicking here.

COACH AND COACH
First-year UCSD head coach Eric Olen will be a weekly guest on The Mighty 1090's "Coach" Kentera Show all season long. Typically, Olen will join host John Kentera live on Thursday nights at 8:30 p.m.

UCSD ranks among the top 50 teams in the nation in scoring defense (26th, 66.3), fewest turnovers (41st, 147) and three-pointers/game (44th, 8.7).

Individually, James McCann ranks 17th in assists/game (6.1), 21st in assist/turnover ratio (3.17) and 35th in total assists (73).

HELPING HANDS
James McCann is closing in on UCSD's Division II (since the 2000-01 season) career assists record. Heading into this week's games, the senior guard has accumulated 381 career helpers, which ranks second on the school's list. The DII record is held by Clint Allard, who dished out 414 assists between 2004 and 2008. The all-time school record is 496 by Darvin Jackson (1988-92).

McMORE ON McCANN
Earlier this season, James McCann scored his 1,000th career point. He entered the year with 934 and his 11-point performance at Humboldt State on Dec. 5 put him over the mark. He is just the third Triton to accumulate 1,000 points during the team's NCAA Division II era (since the 2000-01 season). Overall, he is the 12th UCSD player in program history to join the club.

TRITON NOTES
James McCann went 10-for-14 from the free throw line in a game against Cal State Stanislaus (1/3), both career-highs ... McCann also knocked down 10-of-11 free throws against Cal State East Bay last week … McCann also set a career-high of 10 rebounds against CSUEB last week … McCann has scored at least 10 points in 11 of 12 games this season ... Drew Dyer has made at least one three-pointer in 10 of 12 games ... Hunter Walker amassed a career-high 25 points versus Cal State Monterey Bay last week … MacKenzie McCullough totaled a career-high 20 points against UC Merced and grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds against Cal State Monterey Bay ... Adam Klie scored a career-high 19 points off the bench against Academy of Art … Zach McMillan's 16 rebounds against UC Merced were a career-best and the most since Casey Ryan pulled down 20 against San Francisco State on Feb. 3, 2011 ... Head coach Eric Olen earned his first career win on Nov. 15 with a 66-56 victory against Daemen College at RIMAC Arena … Olen's inaugural win came in his first career regular season contest ... WEEKLY REWIND
James McCann recorded a double-double with 23 points and 10 rebounds to propel the UCSD to an 80-70 victory over Cal State East Bay last Friday in front of 1,146 fans at RIMAC Arena. McCann went 6-for-14 from the field, including a three-pointer, and 10-for-11 from the free throw line. His 10 boards were a career-high and he also dished out seven assists in the victory. McCann scored 21 of his 23 points in the second half. The following night on Saturday, Hunter Walker poured in a career-high 25 points to lead the Tritons to a commanding 93-70 league victory against Cal State Monterey Bay. Walker was 9-for-14 from the floor, which included three three-pointers. He made four of five free throws and also finished with six rebounds, two assists, a block and a steal. McCann netted another 22 and also had a game-high eight assists. MacKenzie McCullough recorded a double-double with 15 points and a career-best 10 rebounds, while Drew Dyer totaled 14 points.

DYER DAZZLES
Drew Dyer was named the CCAA Player of the Week on Nov. 25. The 6'6" forward recorded his first double-double of the season in a near victory over league favorite Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 21. The Tritons fell in overtime, 77-73, despite 22 points and a career-high 14 rebounds from the sophomore. The Aurora, Colo., native was 7-for-16 from the floor, including a pair of treys, and capitalized on six-of-seven free throw opportunities. His 22 points and 14 rebounds, eight on the offensive side, were game-highs. It marked the first career conference award for Dyer.

HEAD COACH ERIC OLEN
Long-time UCSD assistant coach Eric Olen was named the program's 12th head coach on Oct. 1, 2013. Olen joined the Tritons as a second assistant for the 2004-05 season and was promoted to first assistant the next season. He was on the bench during the 2007-08 campaign when UCSD won its first-ever CCAA Tournament title and earned its first berth in the NCAA Tournament. As a player at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala., Olen helped the Badgers to three straight appearances in the NAIA National Tournament, including trips to the NAIA Elite Eight in 2000 and 2001.

ABOUT THE SEAWOLVES
Sonoma State enters Friday's game with a 1-11 overall record and sits in last place in the CCAA at 0-8. The Seawolves are coming off a four-game road trip, losing all four games to Cal State Dominguez Hills (74-65), Cal State L.A. (59-57), Humboldt State (69-67) and Cal Poly Pomona (57-54). Sonoma State ranks last in points per game (64.2) in the CCAA, but gets to the free-throw line at a fifth best conference mark. The have made 202-of-287 attempts at the charity stripe, for a mark of 70.4%. Justin Herold ranks 17th in the conference in scoring at 14.3 points per game and has notched double figures in nine of 10 contests played in. He also ranks fourth in field goal percentage (60.0%) and 11th in rebounds per game (6.2) in the conference. Pat Fuscaldo is currently in his 20th season in charge of the Seawolves as head coach.

Sonoma State holds a 16-9 advantage in the all-time series against UCSD. The two teams split the 2012-13 series, with the Tritons winning in Rohnert Park (85-65) and the Seawolves coming out on top in La Jolla (68-57).

ABOUT THE GATORS
San Francisco State, which plays at No. 9 Cal State San Bernardino Friday, enters the week at 7-4 overall and tied for fifth in the CCAA at 5-3. The Gators split a pair of road league games last week, falling to Cal Poly Pomona (66-56) before downing Humboldt State (82-73). Nefi Perdomo leads the Gators offensively and is the CCAA’s leading scorer at 21.7 points per game. He also leads the conference in steals (25) and three’s made (36).  Will Overton, Jr. is SFSU’s second leading scorer at 14.3 points per game and also averages 4.4 rebounds per contest. The Gators are first in the CCAA in free throw percentage (76.1%), second in steals per game (8.0) and third in assists per game (14.5). Paul Trevor is currently in his fourth season as head coach of SFSU.

ABOUT THE SERIES
UCSD holds a 15-10 advantage in the all-time series record against San Francisco State. The two teams split the 2012-13 series, with the Gators winning in San Francisco (70-55) and the Tritons grabbing a win in La Jolla (83-70).

CCAA TOURNAMENT RETURNS TO ONTARIO
The 2014 CCAA Championship Tournament returns to Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif., March 6-8. This year, the tournament will feature a new format that includes 12 teams (six men's teams and six women's teams) instead of the previous 16-team field. All tournament games will be played at Citizens Business Bank Arena, with the first round campus site games eliminated. The top two men's teams and top two women's teams will receive a first-round bye, while the No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 seeds on each side will play a first round elimination game on Thursday, March 6. Semifinal games between the first-round winners and the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds will take place on Friday, March 7, and the championship games will be played on Saturday, March 8. The men's and women's teams that win the CCAA Tournament will receive automatic qualification into the 2014 NCAA Division II Championship Tournament.
