AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011: Competed in six events and was UCSD's second-highest finisher in all of them during her remarkable season ... Debuted with a third-place finish overall in the UC San Diego Opener with a time of 15:30 ... Earned a strong 23rd-place showing at Asics/UC Irvine Invitational (18:25.5) ... Figured greatly into team scores of both CCAA Championships (21:56.9) and NCAA West Regional Championships (22:28) ... Placed 13th and 28th, respectively, in those races, while team earned respective places of fourth and eighth ... Awarded Freshman of the Year accolade by team after season ended.
