Kris Lesovsky was named an assistant coach with the UCSD softball program in September of 2013.
Lesovsky is responsible for working with the outfielders and the hitters.
As a student-athlete, she is one of the most decorated athletes to every play at Triton Softball field. She was a pivotal piece is bringing home the 2011 NCAA Division II national championship, the program’s first national title and the 30th overall for UCSD as an institution.
Lesovsky garnered All-America distinction three years, received All-CCAA First Team respects four times and was named All-West Region each season in her career. She was chosen as the West Region Player of the Year after compiling a school-record .446 batting average in 2009. Lesovsky finished as the Tritons’ all-time career leader in average (.386), runs (183), hits (276), doubles (66), RBI (130) and walks (146).
Lesovsky earned a bachelor’s degree in general biology and language studies from UCSD in 2012.
