Former Triton standout Roxanne Brunsting was named an assistant coach with the UCSD women's volleyball program in 2013.
Brunsting spent the 2012 season as an assistant coach with the San Francisco Juniors Volleyball Club. She was responsible for providing support to the head coach through the implementation of coaching plans for varying skill levels.
A two-year team captain for UCSD, Brunsting earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention accolades in 2009, 2010 and 2011. She was also named First Team All-CCAA following those seasons. In the school's record book, Brunsting ranks second in career digs (1,596) and fifth in career service aces (141).
Brunsting was also a two-time UCSD Athlete of the Year selection.
The Chula Vista native earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC San Diego in 2011.
