As a Junior in 2008: Earned minutes in 15 of UCSD's 18 matches... registered his first career point with an assist on Sept. 26, a 3-0 home win over Cal Poly Pomona.

As a Sophomore in 2007: Played in nine contests during his sophomore campaign, starting in two of those games... registered one shot during his time played.... started the 2-1 loss on the road versus No. 21 Sonoma State and the 1-1 draw at home against Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 21.

As a Freshman in 2006: Appeared in 11 matches for the Tritons in '06, getting the starting nod once... made his first collegiate start in the 1-0 double overtime victory at Chico State on Sept.17... took two shots on the season, one of which was on goal... the lone shot on goal in his rookie year came on a penalty kick miss in the 2-0 loss at Cal State Bakersfield on Sept. 22.

High School: A 2006 graduate of Los Alamitos High School in Los Alamitos, Calif... helped soccer team to the 2006 Sunset League Championship and a spot in the CIF Division I Southern Section semifinals... played club soccer for the South Bay Soccer Club.

Personal: Born Oct. 22, 1987... parents are Cary and Diana Parton, both of whom attended University of Southern California... has an older brother named Alex... is a Political Science major in Sixth College... enjoys surfing in his spare time.
