AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006-07: Started all 20 games in which he appeared on the season... missed the team’s season opener at San Diego State after suffering a broken bone in his face in the final exhibition game of the year at the University of San Diego on November 13... had surgery to repair the broken bone on November 14... missed the next six games recovering from the surgery... returned to the floor for the first team on December 20 at CSU Dominguez Hills... scored 11 points, grabbed three boards, dished out one assist and had one blocked shot against the Toros.... scored 15 points and grabbed four rebounds in the loss at Humboldt State on January 4... scored a team-high 12 points in the 67-36 loss at CSU Bakersfield on January 13... chipped in 14 points during the 69-63 win over No. 12 CSUSB on January 19... scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds in the 53-48 win at SFSU on January 26... notched a season-high 21 points on 10-for-15 shooting in the 71-55 loss at CSUMB on January 27... scored 14 points with five rebounds and 16 points with four rebounds in consecutive UCSD wins on February 2 and 3, completing a streak of four-straight double-digit scoring games... scored 13 points with one block, one assist, and two rebounds on Spirit Night against Sonoma State... scored double-digits in three-straight games starting with Sonoma State and continuing on February 10 with 12 points against Humboldt State and February 16 with 20 points, as well as five rebounds, against Cal State Bakersfield... recorded a season-high three blocked shots while adding seven points, three rebounds, and two assists at home against Cal State L.A. on February 17... dished out a season-high three assists while scoring nine points at Cal Poly Pomona... scored 13 points with four rebounds in a win over Cal State Monterey Bay... helped UCSD to a season finale victory with 11 points and five rebounds... earned his second consecutive All-CCAA selection by joining the All-CCAA Second Team after leading the Tritons with 11.8 points per game and 16 total blocks on the season.

 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06: Started 27 of the 29 games he played in during his rookie campaign... became the first UCSD men’s basketball player to earn All-CCAA First or Second Team honors with his First Team selection in 2005-06... converted all three of his field goal attempts during his regular-season debut at Cal Poly on November 18... scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed six rebounds at Grand Canyon University on November 25, making nine of ten shots from the field... helped team to overtime win during home opener against Grand Canyon, scoring 17 points, with three rebounds, two steals, and an assist on January 3... had 18 points, seven rebounds, and two steals in 26 minutes at home against Cal State Stanislaus on January 6... compiled a great overall game at home against Cal State Dominguez Hills on January 20 with 19 points, six rebounds, and career-highs of five steals and four assists... made three clutch free-throws during January 21 overtime win against Cal Poly Pomona, playing a season-high 38 minutes while scoring 16 points and grabbing a career-high nine rebounds, falling just short of a double-double... scored 20 points in 21 minutes of play at Sonoma State on January 27... scored 13 points and added four steals in road victory against San Francisco State on January 28, going 5-for-6 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free-throw line... set a career-high with 22 points while grabbing three rebounds and dishing out an assist during Spirit Night win over Cal State L.A. on February 3... had back-to-back 20 point games, with 20 points and six rebounds on the road against Cal State Stanislaus on February 15, followed by 21 points and six rebounds during a home victory against Cal State San Bernardino on February 15... had 18 double-digit scoring nights... shot over 50% from the field 21 times during the season... finished second in the CCAA and in the topo-30 nationally in field goal percentage.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Oxnard High School in Oxnard, Calif... played basketball for head coach Henry Lobo... helped team to a 28-2 overall record and the Pacific View League Championship as a senior... was named Pacific View League MVP, Ventura County Player of the Year and first team All-CIF as a senior... was actively involved with the California Coastal Trash Pick Up organization... was a Food Share and Strawberry Festival volunteer.
