AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Won the 1500 event during the UCSD Divisional Challenge with a time of 4:02.24, his best mark of the season and the second-best season mark for any Triton runner... finished 2nd in the 800 run during the San Diego City Championships with a time of 1:58.17... finished just outside the top ten in the 800m run during the UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersey Invitational with a time of 1:56.35... posted season-best time of 1:54.28 in the 800m run during the CCAA Championships, finishing 7th in the event.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Posted a season best of mark for UCSD in the 800m run at the Rafer Johnson/UCLA Invitational with a time of 1:57.23.

 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Posted a career-best time of 4:07.25 in the 1500 meter event at the San Diego City Championships.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Bonita Vista High School in Bonita, Calif... ran cross country and track for coaches Ian Cumming, Melanie Holmes and Hector Hernandez at Bonita... led cross country team to back-to-back league championships in 2002 and 2003... was a member of consecutive track and field league championships as a junior and senior... earned all-league honors in cross country during the 2001, ’02 and ’03 seasons... was an All-CIF cross country selection in 2002... placed 18th in the 1600 during the California State preliminaries and finished 75th in state during 2003 cross country championships.

 

PERSONAL: Born on May 9, 1986 in San Diego, Calif... parents are Ronald and Jeanne Becijos... has one older sister named Brandi Pittson... plans on majoring in Computer Science at Warren College... enjoys working on computers and playing the piano.
