AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Tied for eighth in the high jump with season-best mark of 6’6.75” during the Cal/Nevada State Championships... claimed triple jump title during the UCSD Divisional Challenge with height of 44’11.75”... finished 5th in the high jump with height of 6’4.75” and 4th in the triple jump with height of 44’8.25” during the All-Cal Championships... won triple jump event during San Diego City Championships with mark of 44’9.5”... height of 6’5” was good for 4th place in the high jump during the CCAA Championships... triple jump height of 45’3.75” was a season-best, second best among Tritons on the year, and earned 6th place finish at CCAA Championships.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Personal best of 6’6.75” in the high jump... reached at the California/Nevada State Championships meet....4th in the high jump event at the CCAA Championships... finished 7th in the triple jump at the CCAA Championships with a mark of 45’1.75”. His career-best of 6’6.75 in the high jump ranks 8th all-time for UCSD.

 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Seasonal bests of  45’.25” in the triple jump and 6’4.75” in the high jump. Finished the season as the 6th best performer all-time at UCSD in the triple jump.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif.

 

PERSONAL: Born February 24, 1986... parents are George and Janice Francis... has an older brother named Peter and three younger siblings named Gary, Clayton, and Vallerie... is a Structural Engineering major at Sixth College... enjoys Frisbee and volleyball in his spare time.
