AS A JUNIOR IN 2006: Posted a seasonal best in the 5000m run at 15:26.85 during the All-Cal Championships...also a member of the UCSD men’s cross country team.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2005: Posted the teams second best mark in the 5000m run with a career-best time of 15:20.85 at the All-Cal Championships.

 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004: Ran a season’s best time of 26:24 at the Willamette Invitational for the UCSD men’s cross country team... was the team’s third finisher at the UCSD Triton Invitational with a time of 27:45.6.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2003 graduate of the International School of Bangkok... participated in cross country, swimming and track while in high school... ran cross country for coaches Peter Straub and Ed Kelsey... was a member of back-to-back-to-back league champions in the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asian Schools... was the individual cross country champion in both 2000 and 2002... was named the IASAS Athlete of the Year in both 2002 and 2003... was a member of the National Honor Society and varsity council... earned the Biology Award in 2003.

 

PERSONAL: Born July 17, 1985 in Palm Desert, Calif... parents are David and Christi Holligan... has three younger brothers named Brian, Kevin and Mike... majoring in Bio-Engineering at Eleanor Roosevelt College... enjoys windsurfing in his spare time.
