AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Victorious in the shot put event during the Aztec Invitational with a toss of 40’7”... also won the shot put event at the San Diego City Championships with a distance of 42’3.5”... finished 2nd in shot put at the UCSD Divisional Challenge with a mark of 40’4.25”... finished 13th in the shot put during the UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersey Invitational with a distance of 40’4.75”... won the shot put during the CCAA Championships with a throw of 41’10.5”... recorded personal and team season-best in the shot put with a distance of 42’5.5”.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Finished 5th in shot put at the CCAA Championships at 40’ 7.75”... her mark of 42’9” in the shot put at home during the Triton Invitational ranks her as the fifth-best athlete in the event in UCSD history... tied for 2nd in the shot put with a distance of 41’9.75” at the All-Cal Championships.

 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Recorded a seasonal best throw in the shot put of 40’ 5” at Pomona-Pitzer Invitational.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Troy High School in Fullerton, Calif... was a three-time CIF Participant and a Scholar Athlete during all four years of high school... part of Track League Champions in 2001 and 2003... holds the Fullerton City Meet Shot Put Record.

 

PERSONAL: Born June 7, 1986... parents are William and Eileen Anderson... has one older sibling named Brandi and one younger sibling named Jonathan... related to “Winnie the Pooh” author A.A. Milne... an International Studies major with an emphasis on Economics in Eleanor Roosevelt College... enjoys cooking, watching movies, reading, and playing volleyball at the beach in her spare time.
