AS A JUNIOR IN 2008: All-American in Discuss, placing third at the NCAA Championships... Her toss of 158'4" placed her second in school history... Placed 26th in the Discus Throw at the UCSD Invitational with a distance of 47.94M.... At the All-Cal Cup Challenge placed third in the Discus Throw...  Posted a sixth place finish in the Discus at the Mt. Sac Relays with a distance of 44.90M... At the Cal-Nevada Championships placed second in the Discus with a distance of  46.69M.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Recorded career-best and UCSD all-time top-ten throw of 39’8.5” in the shot put during the San Diego City Championships, finishing 2nd in the event... also finished 2nd in the discus at the San Diego City Championships with another career-best and UCSD all-time top-ten mark of 152’11”... finished 5th in discus event with throw of 140’10” during the All-Cal Championships... won the discus event during the CCAA Championships with a toss of 142’11”, while also finishing 7th in the shot put with a mark of 37’2.5”... throw of 152’11.75” in the discus event earned 15th place finish during the NCAA DII National Championships.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Finished 8th in the discus throw at the NCAA National Championships with a throw of 147’01”, earning All-America honors... season-best of 39’5.25” in the shot put ranks as 9th all-time in Triton history... finished first in discus with a throw of 150’8.50” at the All-Cal Championships, securing the #6 spot all-time for the Tritons in the event.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Sonora Union High School in Sonora, Calif... notched personal bests of 142’ in the discus and 39’1” in the shot put events.

PERSONAL: Born July 3, 1987... parents are Robert and Karen Hendy... has one younger sister named Jennifer and one older sister named Ashley... is an undeclared major in Thurgood Marshall College... interests include dance, music, art, outdoor activities, and culture.
