AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Finished 2nd in the 5000 event during Cal/Nevada State Championships with a time of 17:27.63... finished 4th in 3000 during UCSD Divisional Challenge with time of 10:36.83... recorded NCAA provisional qualifying time, career-best, and 6th best in school history time of 10:04.07 in the 3000 during the UCSD Triton Invitational, finishing 5th in the event... finished 8th in the 5000 during UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersey Invitational with time of 17:14.48 that ranks 2nd all-time in UCSD history... finished 6th in the 3000 event with time of 10:33.62 and 3rd in 5000 with time of 17:14.48 at the CCAA Championships... earned All-American honors in the 5000 at the NCAA DII National Championships with a 7th place time of 17:18.72.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Finished 5th in the 5000m run at the Cal-Nevada Championships with a time of 17:37.91... finished 4th in the same event at Pomona-Pitzer, despite rain... earned All-CCAA First Team recognition after winning the 5000m run at the CCAA Championships with a career-best time of  17:25.47, the best by a Triton runner in that event during the year and 3rd best all-time... came in 10th in the 5000m at the NCAA National Championships with a time of 18:27.59... also had a 3000m run season-best mark of 10:06.51, good for third among Tritons... named to the USTFCCCA Women’s All-Academic Squad... was also an All-CCAA performer and NCAA D-II All-American in cross country...... raced in all seven cross country meets for the Tritons as a sophomore... was one of the top three runners for UCSD in six of the seven team races.

 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Had the best time for the Tritons in both the 3000 and 5000 meter runs... finished the 3000m run in a career-best 10:06.03 at the UCLA/Rafer Johnson Invitational, ranking 5th all-time in UCSD history... completed the 5000m run in a season-best 17:27.96 during the CCAA Championships in Chico... ran in three meets for the cross country team... crossed the finish line in a time of 16:03.1, the fourth fastest overall time and the third fastest UCSD time, at the dual meet with Point Loma... finished 30th out of 135 runners at the UC Irvine Invitational as her time of 19:55.3 helped the Tritons to a team victory over 13 other teams. including six Division I schools

 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Monte Vista High School in Danville, Calif... ran cross country and track for coach Carry Amaral... team won the league championship in 2002 and was the North Coast Section Champions in both 2000 and 2003... team qualified for the state championships in 2000, 2002 and 2003... earned all-league honors as a junior and senior... won the North Coast Section Cross Country Individual Championship in 2003... was a member of Amnesty International... was an active member at her church and participated in the Christian Outreach Club.

 

PERSONAL: Born July 16, 1986 in London, England... parents are Alisdair and Jenny McGregor... has one younger sister named Kylie... is a Human Biology major at Warren College... enjoys running, windsurfing, skiing and going to the beach in her spare time.
