No. 14 Tritons' Doubleheader with Sonoma State Canceled Due to Rain
SANTA ROSA, Calif. – Today’s doubleheader between the No. 14 University of California San Diego softball team and Sonoma State, which was slated for 11 a.m., has been canceled due to rain.
The Tritons and Seawolves played a doubleheader yesterday, with Sonoma State taking game one, 3-1, and the UC San Diego capturing the win in game two, 14-2 (five innings).
Next up, the Tritons will return home to host San Francisco State. The two teams will battle in a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. on Thursday and will conclude the series with a doubleheader starting at noon on Friday.
