Tritons Open Season Monday at WWU Invitational
Coming off a historic season in which UC San Diego advanced all the way to the NCAA Championships, the Tritons open their 2019-20 campaign at the Western Washington Men's Golf Invitational in Bellingham, Wash.

Western Washington has been hosting this tournament since 1973. In 2018, WWU won the team title with a 3-under 861. Chico State's Josh McCollum was the individual medalist, finishing 9 under with a three round total of 207. UC San Diego tied for 15th of 20 teams. Hayden Hui was the team's top finisher, tying for 13th with a 2-over 218. Hui fired a 69 in the third and final round after going 74-75 in the first two rounds.
The Tritons continue their three-tournament fall schedule Oct. 14-15 at the Cullum Invitational, hosted by CSUN at Wood Ranch in Simi Valley, Calif.
