No. 4/10 Tritons Take Home 20 All-Conference Honors at MPSF Championships

UC San Diego

WOODLAND, Calif. – The No. 4/10 University of California San Diego men’s and women’s swimming and diving team earned 20 All-Conference Second Team accolades at their first Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships from Feb. 20-23. The conference released its list of honorees on Wednesday morning.

The All-MPSF honors are based on how a student-athlete places in a given event. The first through third place finishers in an individual event and members of a winning relay team earn First Team status, while individuals that place fourth through eighth and relays that rank second and third are named to the Second Team.

Sixteen UC San Diego student-athletes took home All-MPSF awards, with four Tritons earning All-Conference status in multiple events. Reagan Eickert, Graham Hauss, Ivan Kurakin, and Garrett Tse each qualified for All-MPSF designation in two events.

The MPSF will announce its annual Swimmers, Freshmen, Divers, Swim Coach, and Dive Coach of the Year awards in early April.
