Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Both Ranked in CSCAA Preseason Top 10

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – The UC San Diego men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were both ranked in the top-10 of the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) preseason poll. The women were ranked second while the men were ranked sixth.

Queens University of Charlotte was selected first in both the men’s and women’s preseason polls.

Both squads are coming off successful trips to the 2019 NCAA Championships where the women finished sixth and the men finished tenth. The team has already had a successful start to the year. In the first meet of the season, the Tritons had 43 B-Cut times. The Tritons have added depth to their team with the addition of 18 freshman.

UC San Diego is in its final year as a Division II school. The swimming and diving team enters its second season as a member of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), the conference the team will compete in when they transition into Division I.
