AS A JUNIOR IN 2006: Raced in five events during the season... finished 4th overall in a time of 15:49.3 during the Triton’s dual meet with Point Loma... was 13th during the UC Irvine Invitational with a time of 18:48.0... completed the 21st Annual Roy Griak Invitational in a time of 23:50.35, good for 26th overall... finished 11th on the UCSD home course with a time of 23:22.6 at the Triton Classic... earned a spot on the All-West Region team after finishing 10th overall with a time of 21:47.41 at the NCAA DII West Regionals... also a member of the UCSD track and field team... selected to take part in the 5000m event at the NCAA Championships... notched the 11th fastest preliminary time at 17:43.97 and then finished 7th in the finals with a time of 17:18.72, earning All-American status and two points for the Tritons... selected as one of the track and field squad’s Most Valuable Athletes.

 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2005: Was an All-CCAA performer in both cross country and track... earned NCAA D-II All-American status in cross country and qualified for the NCAA D-II National Championship in the 5000 meters, finishing 10th in the country... raced in all seven cross country meets for the Tritons as a sophomore... was one of the top three runners for UCSD in six of the seven team races... finished 5th in the first race of the season, posting a time of 15:46.1 on the 2.5 mile par course at UCSD... finished 22nd at the UC Irvine Invitational with a time of 19:09.4... finished 69th at the Paul Short Collegiate Invitational with her time of 21:59.2... finished 10th at the UCSD Triton Cross Country Classic with her time of 23:01.0 on the 6k par course... had a 7th place finish at the CCAA Championships, helping the team to its second-ever league title with her time of 22:13... finished 15th at the NCAA D-II West Regional Championship with her time of 23:04.50, helping the team to a second place finish... finished 35th at the NCAA D-II National Championships in Chino, Calif., with her time of 22:34.5.

 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004: Ran in three of the team’s eight meets... crossed the finish line in a time of 16:03.1, the fourth fastest overall time and the third fastest UCSD time, at the dual meet with Point Loma... finished 30th out of 135 runners at the UC Irvine Invitational as her time of 19:55.3 helped the Tritons to a team victory over 13 other teams that included six Division I schools... crossed the finish line in a time of 18:27.54 which was good enough for 24th place out of 271 entrants at the Willamette Invite.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Monte Vista High School in Danville, Calif... ran cross country and track for coach Carry Amaral... team won the league championship in 2002 and was the North Coast Section Champions in both 2000 and 2003... team qualified for the state championships in 2000, 2002 and 2003... earned all-league honors as a junior and senior... won the North Coast Section Cross Country Individual Championship in 2003... was a member of Amnesty International... was an active member at her church and participated in the Christian Outreach Club.

 

PERSONAL: Born July 16, 1986 in London, England... parents are Alisdair and Jenny McGregor... has one younger sister named Kylie... is a Human Biology major at Warren College... enjoys running, windsurfing, skiing and going to the beach in her spare time.
