As a Sophomore in 2008: Logged minutes in 20 of UCSD's 23 matches, including earning her first start as a Triton on the final game of the season Nov. 2 against Cal Poly Pomona... tallied three goals on six shots during the year, yielding a .500 shooting percentage that ranked first on the squad.
As a Freshman in 2007: Played in 15 matches, all in a reserve role... registered her first minutes played and first collegiate shot on the road at Hawaii Pacific in a 5-0 victory on Sept. 2... one week later, recorded her first career assist just before halftime of a 2-1 road win over Cal Poly Pomona... scored her first goal as a Triton at home on Sept. 16 during a 3-0 victory over San Francisco State... totaled three points and seven shots on the year.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Helix High School in nearby La Mesa... earned second team all-league and All-Academic second team honors from the San Diego Union Tribune as a senior... helped team to four-straight appearances in the CIF playoffs... team was a CIF Division 2 semifinalist during her senior season... also lettered in golf, earning three-straight first team all-league honors as well as All-Academic from the Union Tribune during her junior and senior campaigns.
Personal: Born Feb. 4, 1989... parents are John and Linda Hitt... father attended San Diego State while mother is a UCSD alum... has a younger sister named Juliann... her uncle, Travis Hitt, played football at San Diego State and is enshrined at the San Diego Hall of Champions... is an Economics major and Environmental Studies minor in Marshall College.... enjoys playing golf and watching Chargers and Padres games in her spare time.
