AS A JUNIOR IN 2007-08: Won the 100 back event at the PCSC Championships with a time of 51.42, while also competing as part of the first-place 200 medley relay team and finishing runner-up in the 200 back event... recorded the second-best time in Triton history in the 50 back, finishing in 23.62 at the PCSC Championships while earning All-Conference honors... earned points for the Tritons at the NCAA Championships in the 200 IM, setting a personal and Triton season-best in the prelims at 1:53.44 and finishing 14th with a finals time of 1:53.52... also helped 400 medley relay team to a fifth-place finish in 3:22.00, finished eighth in the 100 back with a time of 50.62, and posted the third-best time in school history in the 200 back, finishing ninth with a time of 1:50.32 during the NCAA Championships... earned All-American honors for the third consecutive season. 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006-07: Hardy earned PCSC All-Conference and NCAA All-American honors in his second season... Hardy recorded a time of 1:55.26 in the 200 IM and a time of 4:09.88 in the 400 IM at the NCAA Championships... he also swam the first leg of the 400 medley relay as the Tritons finished fourth at Nationals with a time of 3:22.21.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06: Earned All-American Honors in his first season on the La Jolla campus... led the Tritons with top times in the 50 back (24.06), 100 back (51.84) and the 200 back (1:52.63), all coming at the NCAA’s... his times in the 100 and 200 back ranked ninth and eighth, respecitively, in the Triton record book.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended East HS in Salt Lake City... statistical bests include a time of 52.9 in the 100 back, 1:54.6 in the 200 back, 1:55.11 in the 200 IM, 52.01 in the 100 fly and 1:46.6 in the 200 free... earned the Utah Senior IMer of the Year in 2004-05... SYAC Swim Team went to Sections in 2002-2004.

PERSONAL: Born September 16, 1986 in Salt Lake City, Utah... parents are Brad and Kim Hardy... has an older brother, James, who plays on the Lacrosse team at the University of Utah... enjoys tennis in his spare time... an Economics major in Marshall College.
